Exam Pattern: Paper-I (CBT)
The examination will consist of Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions.
Note: There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
SSC CPO Syllabus 2025
1. General Intelligence & Reasoning
Analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning and figural classification, arithmetic number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, etc.
2. General Knowledge & Awareness
Questions designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of everyday observation and experience. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries especially pertaining to History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Polity, Indian Constitution, and Scientific Research.
3. Quantitative Aptitude
Whole numbers, decimals, fractions and relationships between numbers, Percentage, Ratio and Proportion, Square roots, Averages, Interest, Profit & Loss, Discount, Partnership Business, Mixture and Alligation, Time and distance, Time & Work, Basic algebraic identities, Graphs of Linear Equations, Triangle, Circle, Tangents, Trigonometry, Height and Distances, Histogram, Bar diagram & Pie chart.
4. English Comprehension
Candidates' ability to understand correct English, their basic comprehension and writing ability, etc. would be tested.
