Brief Description
The Government of India, Ministry of Railways, through the Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs), has released the Centralised Employment Notice (CEN) No. 06/2025 for the recruitment of 5810 vacancies for various Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) - Graduate posts. Eligible candidates with a graduate degree can apply online for posts like Station Master, Goods Manager, Junior Accounts Assistant, and others. Applications must be submitted online only through the official RRB websites by 20.11.2025.

Note:
- For General category (₹500/-), ₹400/- will be refunded (after deducting bank charges) after appearing in the 1st Stage CBT.
- For Reserved categories (₹250/-), the full fee of ₹250/- will be refunded (after deducting bank charges) after appearing in the 1st Stage CBT.
Payment Mode:
- The fee can be paid online only through Internet Banking, Debit/Credit Card, or UPI.

Maximum Age: 33 Years
Age relaxation is applicable as per rules for reserved categories (e.g., 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC-NCL).

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have a Graduate Degree from a recognized university or its equivalent.
- For posts of Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist and Senior Clerk cum Typist, typing proficiency in English/Hindi on a computer is essential.
- Important: Candidates awaiting the final results of their prescribed educational qualification are NOT eligible to apply.
Selection Process
The recruitment process will involve 1st Stage CBT, 2nd Stage CBT, Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) / Typing Skill Test (CBTST) as applicable, followed by Document Verification and Medical Examination.
1st Stage CBT (Screening Nature)
- Duration: 90 Minutes (120 for PwBD)
- Total Questions: 100
- Subjects: Mathematics (30), General Intelligence & Reasoning (30), General Awareness (40).
2nd Stage CBT
- Duration: 90 Minutes (120 for PwBD)
- Total Questions: 120
- Subjects: Mathematics (35), General Intelligence & Reasoning (35), General Awareness (50).
Skill Test (Qualifying)
- CBAT: For Station Master and Traffic Assistant.
- Typing Skill Test (CBTST): For Jr. Accounts Asst. & Sr. Clerk. 30 WPM (English) or 25 WPM (Hindi).
Qualifying Criteria
CBT Minimum Marks: To qualify, candidates must secure minimum percentage marks: UR/EWS - 40%, OBC/SC - 30%, ST - 25%.
CBAT (Station Master/Traffic Asst.): Candidates must secure a minimum T-Score of 42 in each test battery to qualify. There is no relaxation in this minimum T-Score.
How to Apply
- Candidates must apply online through the official website of any RRB (e.g., www.rrbahmedabad.gov.in).
- Candidates must first 'Create an Account' on the RRB portal.
- Important: Candidates must choose only ONE RRB. Multiple applications to different or the same RRB will lead to rejection and debarment.
- During the application, a Live Photo of the candidate will be captured via webcam or mobile camera. Pre-existing photos cannot be uploaded.
- Upload a scanned copy of your signature as per the specifications.
- Pay the application fee online and submit the form.
- Take a printout of the submitted application form for your records.

1. What is the last date to apply for RRB NTPC CEN 06/2025?
The last date to submit the online application is 20th November 2025 (23:59 hrs).
2. Is there any negative marking in the exam?
Yes, there is negative marking. 1/3rd of the marks allotted for each question will be deducted for every wrong answer in both 1st Stage and 2nd Stage CBTs.
3. Can I apply if I am in my final year of graduation?
No. The notification clearly states that candidates awaiting the final results of their prescribed educational qualification are not eligible to apply.
4. Can I apply to multiple RRBs to increase my chances?
No. A candidate must submit an application to only one RRB. Submitting more than one application will lead to immediate rejection of all applications and debarment from future RRB/RRC exams.
5. How is the application fee refunded?
For General candidates, ₹400 (out of ₹500) is refunded. For reserved categories (SC/ST/Women/PwBD, etc.), the full ₹250 is refunded (bank charges will be deducted for both). This refund is only processed for candidates who actually appear for the 1st Stage CBT.
