Brief Description
The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) invites online applications for the Assistant Prosecution Officer (APO) Examination-2025. This recruitment is for a Group 'B', Gazetted post with a pay scale of Level-8. The selection process consists of three stages: a Preliminary Examination, a Main (Written) Examination, and an Interview. Final merit will be determined by the marks obtained in the Main Exam and the Interview. It is mandatory for all candidates to complete a One Time Registration (O.T.R.) at least 72 hours before applying.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- The candidates must possess a Law Degree from any recognized University up to the last date for receipt of the application.
Preferential Qualification
- Other things being equal, preference will be given to candidates who have served for a minimum of two years in the Territorial Army or possess a "B" certificate of N.C.C..

- Part I (General Knowledge): 50 Questions
- Part II (Law): 100 Questions (including Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, UP Police Act, and Indian Constitution)
Mains Exam500 Marks
- General Hindi: 100 Marks
- General English: 50 Marks
- General Knowledge: 50 Marks
- Criminal Law & Procedure: 100 Marks
- Law of Evidence: 100 Marks
- Other Acts: 100 Marks
